Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is a form of health care that uses spinal adjustments to restore proper function to the nervous system. Without using drugs or surgery we can often correct misalignments (subluxations) that happen to our spine as a result of daily life activities.

Chiropractic adjustments uses precise force to a specific area of your spine in order to correct the misalignment, restoring regular transmissions of nerve impulses.

Chiropractic care is a health care method that looks at the body as a whole and strives to address the underlying issue(s) and not just treat the symptoms.

Chiropractors evaluate many factors that may be affecting your health, including sleep, exercise/daily activity, environment, nutrition, etc., to derive a treatment plan that will ensure your optimal health & wellness.

Chiropractic care uses a broad range of services and techniques to locate, analyze and treat spinal alignment issues without the usage of drugs or surgery.

Chiropractic care uses the body’s natural healing abilities to correct issues within the body.

Doctors of Chiropractic are trained as primary contact health care practitioners. After completing an undergraduate degree, Chiropractic students complete an additional four-year curriculum of over 4,500 hours of specialized instruction and hands-on training at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Finally, in order to earn the privilege to practice, they must pass National Board and Clinical Competency Exams.

Chiropractic is firmly grounded in science and endorsed by research. Few other healthcare disciplines have been assessed as extensively and rigorously as chiropractic. A number of studies confirm that it is one of the safest and most effective methods of health care available, and that patient satisfaction is consistently high.

Research findings have changed the attitudes of many physicians. Increasing numbers of medical doctors and health care providers now recognize the benefits of chiropractic care, and many refer their patients to chiropractors.  Dr. Sheila McGreal works collaboratively with a number of healthcare practitioners with the intent to provide patients with the best care possible.  The chiropractic style used in our center to optimize your health varies, incorporating low force and manual techniques to offer the best approach for each individual so that you experience the results you want.

As the child grows, regular adjustments can help the spine develop correctly and keep the nervous system functioning properly. This leads to the child having a healthier, more active live.

Regular chiropractic care has been known to help relieve colic, breathing problems, nursing difficulties, sleep disturbances, allergic reactions and chronic illness.

“Chiropractic just makes you feel so much better. When I walk out of the clinic, I feel like I’m about three inches taller and everything’s in place. And as long as I see the chiropractor, I feel like I’m one step ahead of the game.” – Tom Brady
